After three years of gallery activities in Munich Schwabing the @fotobuchgalerie has now changed the gallery concept and will from now on act as a nomadic (pop-up) gallery for special photobooks. More than 100 photobooks with a focus on visual storytelling will be exposed in preselected locations – from conceptual work, dummy-books, self-published artist-books to professional designed photobooks from many different publishers.
@fotobuchgalerie offers interested artists and publishers free exhibition space for their photobooks. The intention is mainly on promotion rather than on sales. For sale are currently only selected photo books from Nimbus Verlag and a few individual publications.

Die Fotobuchgalerie wandelt sich nach drei Jahren mit festem Standort in der Clemensstraße in München zu einer „nomadic“ Gallery für besondere Fotobücher in München. Die Konzentration auf Fotobücher mit Schwerpunkt „visuelles Storytelling“, erlaubt es, eine Vielzahl an unterschiedlichen Facetten der Fotobuchentwicklung vorzustellen, vom Erstlingswerk der Abschlussarbeit eines Fotografiestudiums, in kleiner Auflage erstellten Artist-Books, bis hin zu aufwändig konzipierten Fotokunstbüchern.
Die Fotobuchgalerie bietet interessierten Künstlern und Verlagen eine kostenfreie Bühne ihrer Fotobücher. Zum Verkauf stehen aktuell nur ausgewählte Fotobücher vom Nimbus Verlag sowie wenige Einzelpublikationen.
